Manthey is expected to leave the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine unchanged.

The test vehicle features several aerodynamic enhancements, including carbon aero discs on the rear wheels.

Manthey’s upgrade kit for the 992.1 generation 911 GT3 improved the car's Nürburgring time by 4.19 seconds.

Although the modifications made to the 992.2 generation Porsche 911 GT3 are relatively minor, primarily aimed at emissions reduction and a few subtle design updates, Manthey Racing is currently developing a new upgrade kit to enhance the performance of this track-oriented 911.

Manthey was observed testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for the first time with their recent updates. As Porsche has altered the front bumper of the 992.2 GT3, Manthey is making adjustments as well. This prototype features a pair of small aerodynamic canards, and the front splitter seems slightly larger than in previous models.

      Aerodynamic Enhancements and New Features

Furthermore, the 911 is equipped with a new set of wheels that include carbon fiber aero discs at the rear. The test vehicle also displays some camouflage on the rear wing, and it seems that the endplates are a bit larger than those of the standard GT3. Additionally, a new carbon fiber diffuser appears to be included.

While the visual modifications are noticeable, most of Manthey’s upgrades are likely to be found underneath the exterior. For comparison, the previous 992.1 GT3 received custom 3-way and 4-way adjustable coilovers, upgraded brake discs, new underbody aerodynamic components, illuminated door sills, and stainless steel braided brake lines. These upgrades resulted in an impressive 4.19-second reduction in its Nürburgring lap time, bringing it to 6:55.737.

Manthey is not expected to alter the GT3’s 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, and there is no need for changes. This engine produces 502 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque, which is more than sufficient for a sports car of this caliber. With the available six-speed manual transmission, the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds, and only takes 3.2 seconds to achieve that speed with the PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.
