Though Her Majesty owned several of the brand's SUVs, this is thought to be the only Tonga Green diesel V8 variant.

The Range Rover Vogue has a history with the British Royal Family.

It is equipped with a 3.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 engine and finished in Tonga Green.

Iconic Auctioneers anticipates bids may reach up to $80,000 for this royal SUV.

This 2007 Range Rover Vogue may resemble any other, but it has been deemed one of the “most significant” models due to its previous ownership by Queen Elizabeth II.

In the realm of Range Rovers, it’s hard to find one with greater value than this particular vehicle.

Many enthusiasts regard the L322 generation of the Range Rover as the pinnacle of the model line. Notably, Jeremy Clarkson owns one, which is prominently featured on Clarkson’s Farm. Interestingly, his L322 shares the same day of registration as the Queen’s and has a chassis number just 10 units apart.

Land Rover provided several Range Rover variants to the late Queen, but this is believed to be the only one in Tonga Green with the 3.6-liter turbo-diesel V8, as opposed to the available petrol version.

Additionally, it is fitted with a cage in the rear for the Queen's beloved corgis.

Iconic Auctioneers will be offering the vehicle for sale on November 8, with expectations for it to fetch between £50,000 and £60,000 ($80,000). The auction house notes that Queen Elizabeth II was seen driving this Range Rover on multiple occasions, including at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

      A Mystery, Until Recently

According to the auction house, the Land Rover left the royal collection around 10 years ago and was purchased by a private individual. It later came into the hands of the current seller, who was initially unaware of its royal provenance.

It wasn’t until they checked the registration and chassis number that they learned of the Queen’s ownership of this vehicle.

Since then, its exterior paint has been restored, its interior updated, and the original telephone, headphones, and rear entertainment systems have been sourced from Land Rover Special Vehicles. The vehicle currently has just over 126,000 miles on it.

For those interested in owning a unique piece of British automotive and royal history, this auction in November presents a rare opportunity to do just that. You can view the auction details here.
