The Venom F5 Evolution achieves 2,031 hp thanks to enhanced turbochargers and modified internal engine components.

It can accelerate from 0 to 200 mph in just 10.3 seconds, significantly outpacing most production vehicles.

Aerodynamic enhancements comprise a new splitter, front dive planes, and a stabilizing rear Gurney flap.

Hennessey asserts it has created the most potent fully internal combustion hypercar ever produced. The latest Venom F5 Evolution features larger turbos, extensive aerodynamic improvements, and, quite literally, contributes more fuel to the engine. The outcome is an astonishing 2,031 horsepower (1,514 kW) and an incredible 0 to 200 mph (321 km/h) acceleration time of merely 10.3 seconds—a speed it can reach faster than most can read this text.

Moreover, only 24 of these American supercars exist, presenting a unique opportunity to own one.

Under the rear deck is a revised version of Hennessey’s 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Developed with help from Ilmor Engineering, the improved engine provides boosts in power, durability, and drivability without altering its engine displacement.

      Engine Enhancements Without Gimmicks

They began with new Precision 7680 turbochargers, Ilmor-designed oval-shaped billet aluminum pistons, billet aluminum connecting rods, titanium exhaust valves, and larger high-flow fuel injectors—while interestingly maintaining the same displacement. Naturally, Hennessey didn’t limit their efforts to just increasing power and speed.

Visually, the Venom F5 Evolution is distinctly recognizable compared to its predecessors. The team explored aerodynamics more thoroughly, discovering new methods to enhance the vehicle, such as a fully redesigned front splitter with assistance from Dr. Mark Handford, known for his work in F1 and IndyCar.

Additionally, they introduced dive planes and louvers in front of the front wheels, new underbody paneling to optimize airflow, and a new rear Gurney flap to enhance stability at high velocities. Hennessey also incorporated dynamic suspension settings that adjust based on the selected power mode.

Interior Modifications and a Costly Upgrade Option

Inside, the cabin features new seating options for those looking for a less extreme cockpit experience. The newly designed seats showcase a special “Blast Off” motif, reflecting the aerospace-inspired interior.

Overall, the Venom F5 Evolution represents a significant engineering achievement. For current F5 owners, there’s positive news: all Evolution upgrades can be retrofitted to previously delivered vehicles. However, the complete upgrade package will cost $285,000, excluding the new seats.
