Is This Our Initial Glimpse of the Lamborghini Revuelto Roadster? | Carscoops

Given that it is still early in the Revuelto's production cycle for it to be classified as a facelift, the most likely explanation is that this is a prototype for the forthcoming Roadster.

The vehicle's front end showcases new bumper fins and a more aggressive splitter.

Changes have also been made to the side air intakes of the supercar.

No updates to the powertrain are anticipated for the convertible version of the Revuelto.

Lamborghini revealed the Revuelto nearly two years ago, and it seems they are already developing a new version, as evidenced by this interesting prototype spotted outside the Italian company’s headquarters. While this new model probably won't be an extreme SV or SVJ variant, it could be the Revuelto Roadster or possibly the Revuelto S.

The differences between this prototype and the existing production model are minor yet discernible. The most apparent modifications are seen in the front fascia, where Lamborghini has updated the bumper and added new fins to the large air intakes. An extended splitter has also been included, enhancing its aggressive look.

Additionally, some minor adjustments have been made, such as the addition of two new slats to the side air intakes. Varryx was also able to get a brief glimpse of the car’s rear, revealing subtle enhancements to the diffuser.

What exactly is Lamborghini developing here? One possibility is that this is the Revuelto Roadster. The Aventador Roadster debuted approximately two years after the Coupe and, aside from its removable carbon fiber roof panels, closely resembled the hardtop. It's plausible that this prototype might also have removable roof panels that are difficult to detect due to its camouflage.

If this is indeed the Revuelto Roadster, it will utilize the same powertrain as the Coupe, which features a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 814 hp, paired with two electric motors. The total output is 1,001 hp and 595 lb-ft (807 Nm) of torque, with power routed to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Given that the Revuelto is still in the early stages of its production, it is unlikely to be a facelift; the most reasonable assumption is that this is a prototype for the forthcoming Roadster.
