The starting price for this exclusive Alfa Romeo-based coupe is $625,000, indicating that it targets a very specific clientele.

Totem’s GT Super Farina features a 591 hp twin-turbo 2.8-liter V6 engine. Only 40 handcrafted units will be produced by the Italian manufacturer. The Luci del Bosco metallic paint recalls the colors of 1970s Italian sports cars.

This is Farina, the latest creation from Totem Automobili and a new interpretation of its Alfa Romeo-based GT Super. There will be only 40 units, each meticulously constructed with great attention to detail.

If Singer is renowned for its Porsche 911 restomods, Totem may be emerging as a comparable contender in the realm of classic Alfas.

When ordering their ideal vehicle, the owner of this GT Super sought something unique. Consequently, they chose a distinctive metallic brown hue called Luci del Bosco, inspired by colors typical of Italian sports cars from the 1970s, which complements the car perfectly alongside gold-painted wheels and satin nickel trims.

Totem has also incorporated an extensive satin carbon fiber package, making this car exude a cool vibe and arguably blend retro and modern design features better than any other restomod available.

The interior matches the exterior in splendor, featuring ivory-colored Nappa leather on the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels, complemented by Alcantara surfaces, carbon fiber highlights, and metallic details. Additionally, precision-milled aluminum and stainless steel accents are included. A standout feature of the cabin is the gated manual shifter topped with a wooden shift knob.

      Powerful Performance

Totem could have opted for a simple approach by installing a mildly refreshed, period-appropriate Alfa engine, but that wasn't the plan.

Instead, they collaborated with Italian engine manufacturer Italtechnica to create a 2.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with six individual throttle bodies, featuring both direct and port fuel injection.

This engine produces 591 hp and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) in its standard configuration but can be upgraded to achieve 739 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. These specifications are particularly impressive, especially considering the compact size of the GT Super.

The price for the vehicle begins at a staggering €539,000 ($625,000). While this is a substantial investment, for those in search of an exceptional Italian driving experience, combined with a car that can also serve as a stunning art piece, and who can afford it, the GT Super is likely worth every cent.
