Manhart's extreme BMW M5 modification nears 900 hp through turbo enhancements, coilovers, and carbon aerodynamic components.

Manhart has installed new turbochargers along with a specialized 'powerbox.'

Other modifications include upgraded wheels, race downpipes, and a new exhaust system.

Customers can also opt for KW Variant 4 coilovers for their M5.

In the past, supercars boasting 600 hp were seen as top-tier, but nowadays, you can visit a high-end dealership and drive away in a sedan, SUV, or estate offering significantly more power. A prime illustration of this is the latest BMW M5.

Powered by a hybrid 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, it produces 717 hp and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque, which is ample for road use. Clearly, this wasn’t communicated to Manhart.

The German tuner has built a reputation for its expertise in BMW modifications and has taken the latest M5 to new heights. This was achieved by upgrading the V8’s turbochargers and incorporating its in-house MHtronik powerbox. Furthermore, the sports sedan features an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable valves and race downpipes.

Thanks to these modifications, the vehicle now delivers 897 hp and 885 lb-ft (1,200 Nm) of torque. While Manhart has not disclosed any acceleration figures for this car, it is undoubtedly quicker than the stock version.

Additionally, the tuner has included lowering springs in its MH5 900E package and offers the option of KW Variant 4 coilovers. All MH5 900Es from Manhart come with factory-installed carbon ceramic brakes from BMW M, but aftermarket alternatives are available for those interested.

      Aesthetic Upgrades to Match Performance

In tandem with these performance enhancements, the M5 has been fitted with new forged wheels, sized 22×10.5 at the front and 22×11 at the rear, using 295/30 and 315/30 tires. Alternatively, slightly smaller 21×10.5 front wheels and larger 22×11.5 rear wheels are also an option, fitted with 285/35 and 305/30 tires.

Completeing the modifications are numerous carbon fiber elements, including a new spoiler lip, canards, diffuser, and side skirts. Additionally, there are special champagne-colored decals, although not every customer may appreciate their aesthetic.
