The Jacob & Co Bugatti Tourbillon features a 22.37 mm crankshaft that controls all 16 cylinders.

The new luxury watch is adorned with 328 diamonds, 18 rubies, and includes a functional V16 engine.

Just 18 pieces of the ultra-rare Bugatti Baguette edition will be produced.

Inspired by the design of Bugatti’s Tourbillon, the rubies reflect the look of its LED taillights along the bottom.

Bugatti’s latest hypercar is not only a feat of engineering but also a declaration of intricate craftsmanship, earning it the name Tourbillon, taken from the realm of high-end timekeeping. In line with this concept, Bugatti’s long-time associate Jacob & Co. has developed a new watch that encapsulates the essence of the vehicle.

The two brands have previously teamed up on a collection of Chiron-themed watches, and this new Tourbillon follows in that same vein.

Notably, the Jacob & Co Bugatti Tourbillon features a compact version of the hypercar’s 8.0-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine. The 16 pistons are driven by a 22.37 mm crankshaft that activates when you press a button on the side of the case. The pistons then begin to perform their synchronized movement, much like they do in the Bugatti, akin to how the Chiron watches emulate that car’s W16 engine.

      A More Dazzling Edition

In mid-2024, Bugatti and Jacob & Co. showcased their latest collaboration, announcing an initial production run of 150 units, each priced around $340,000. However, this was just the start of their partnership. Perhaps considering the original satin black case too subtle, Jacob & Co. has introduced the new Baguette version.

This premier model is made from 18K white gold, featuring 328 baguette-cut diamonds and 18 baguette-cut rubies, for a total of 17 carats of diamonds. The rubies, placed along the case's base, are arranged to reflect the unique LED taillights of Bugatti’s 1,775-horsepower hypercar, establishing a visual connection between the watch and the vehicle.

      Engineering in Miniature

Beyond its gemstones, the Tourbillon Baguette boasts impressive horological features. It includes a 30-second double-pace flying tourbillon and dual power reserves. The crown's design is inspired by Bugatti’s own controls, while the dials mimic the gauges of the car.

“From the start of our collaboration, Bugatti and Jacob & Co. have had the privilege of merging our exceptional, top-tier skills into timepiece creations that endure through the ages,” said Bugatti managing director Wiebke Ståhl. “Each piece is a work of art, meant to be appreciated for generations. This legacy is embodied in the Bugatti Tourbillon and Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette timepieces, aligning with how Bugatti designed the Tourbillon hypercar.”

      Peak Exclusivity

Only 18 examples of the Baguette edition will be made, and while the price has yet to be revealed, its rarity and craftsmanship are expected to place it at the pinnacle of the collection, likely reaching into the seven-figure range.
