A Even More Insane Koenigsegg Is Set to Be Unveiled | Carscoops

      Some speculate that this could be a track-exclusive version of the powerful twin-turbo V8 Jesko.

      The vehicle is equipped with a custom rear wing and a newly designed vertical brake light.

      It’s also possible that this could be a unique, one-off commission.

      The Koenigsegg Jesko is already an extraordinary hypercar, but it appears that the Swedish manufacturer is developing something even more extreme. In recent days, Koenigsegg has begun teasing an exciting new model, generating speculation that it could either be a completely new model or an enhanced version of the Jesko. Regardless of what it is, it's sure to make a significant impact on the competition.

      In the teasers, Koenigsegg states, “perfection is a moving target,” as we get glimpses of the upcoming model ahead of its unveiling in less than 12 hours. One teaser reveals that the car has an exposed carbon fiber body highlighted by a prominent NACA duct in white. Another teaser shows the front wheel arch of the model, while yet another displays an upgraded twin-plane rear wing.

      The most revealing image presents the car from the back. It features rear arches and wing mirrors akin to the Jesko, but the rear wing differs from the one on the Jesko Attack. It does not appear to be as elevated as the Attack’s wing and lacks the same curves. However, it remains mounted to the engine cover, sitting flat with large endplates. A small vertical brake light is also seen.

      Some speculate that this new vehicle could be Koenigsegg’s entry into the Le Mans Hypercar class, a category that Christian von Koenigsegg showed interest in several years ago. However, the aerodynamics do not appear radical enough for a racing prototype. It is more plausible that this will be a limited-production track-only version of the Jesko for select VIP clients. It could even be an exciting new one-off.
