A newly revealed ultra-rare supercar pays homage to McLaren’s iconic Le Mans victory with aerodynamics inspired by track performance and motorsport elements both inside and out.
The McLaren 750S Le Mans serves as a tribute to the F1 that clinched victory in the 24-hour race back in 1995.
This model boasts a more aggressive aerodynamic package along with unique features for both the exterior and interior.
Similar to earlier LM special editions, production will be limited to just 50 units.
Winning the Le Mans race on the first attempt is an extraordinary feat, granting enduring bragging rights in the motorsport world. McLaren achieved this back in 1995 and intends to keep this achievement at the forefront, especially for those who can recall every Group C car by heart.
Building on previous special-edition tributes centered around the 650S in 2015 and the 720S in 2020, McLaren is now introducing another limited-edition homage, this time utilizing the 750S supercar as its foundation.
This new model celebrates three decades since the brand’s legendary victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Like its forerunners, this commemorative version will be limited to just 50 units worldwide, ensuring that it remains as exclusive as anticipated.
The vehicle differentiates itself from the regular 750S Coupe with a High Downforce Kit from the MSO (McLaren Special Operations) division, which enhances downforce by 10%. This kit features a more prominent splitter on the front bumper, a roof scoop, a larger active rear spoiler, and under-wing louvers at the rear, all crafted from carbon fiber.
The special edition is available exclusively in Le Mans Grey or McLaren Orange, complete with LM badging on the side. It is also equipped with the renowned five-spoke LM alloy wheels finished in Stealth. Additionally, the brake calipers are painted in F1 Gold, with the McLaren logo in red and an option for a Track Brake upgrade.
Inside, the 750S Le Mans combines Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Soft Grain Leather, accented in either Dove Gray or McLaren Orange Alcantara. Le Mans branding is stitched into the headrests and floormats, along with a distinctive plaque that signifies ownership of one of the 50 cars produced.
For added nostalgia, owners have the option to include a custom track record plaque in the front luggage compartment, commemorating McLaren’s 1995 Le Mans success.
Performance specifications remain unchanged, retaining the mid-mounted twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 which generates 740 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. That’s substantial power, unless you're aiming to win Le Mans yourself—then you might want to reach out to MSO again.
This limited edition is a salute to the famous McLaren F1 GTR #59, which secured overall victory in 1995 with drivers JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya. Looking ahead to 2025, McLaren plans to enter two 750S GT3 EVOs in the GT3 class at the 24-hour race. Furthermore, the company has committed to re-entering the competitive Le Mans arena in 2027 with a new LMDh hypercar.
