The new P7 is anticipated to make its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show during the third quarter.

The upcoming P7 will be available in China with both LFP and NMC battery options.

Customers can select from 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels.

Performance-oriented variants will feature orange Brembo brake calipers.

Recent information about the next-generation Xpeng P7 sedan indicates that it is more powerful than its predecessor, contrary to previous reports. With a redesigned look reminiscent of Lamborghini aesthetics, the 2025 P7 offers not only a visual refresh but also enhanced performance. However, it will be exclusive to China, so it won’t be available in the US.

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has disclosed that multiple powertrains will be available for the new P7. The standard model will have a rear-mounted electric motor generating 363 hp, powered by an EVE Energy-supplied lithium iron phosphate battery, although its capacity is yet to be revealed.

For consumers seeking greater range, a long-range variant with a single motor will also deliver 363 hp but will be paired with a larger NMC battery sourced from CALB.

Chinese buyers desiring peak performance can choose the new dual-motor configuration. This setup maintains the 363 hp rear motor while adding a 223 hp front motor, bringing the total output to 586 hp. It features an NMC battery from CALB and includes upgraded brakes with orange Brembo calipers.

Additional information has shown that Xpeng will offer the new P7 with 20- and 21-inch wheels fitted with 245 mm front and 275 mm rear Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires. Three unique wheel designs have been previewed, all of which are quite eye-catching. Furthermore, the P7 will feature several forged carbon fiber elements, including the side mirrors and small panels behind the front wheels.

Dimensions for the new P7 are 5017 mm (197.5 inches) in length, 1970 mm (77.5 inches) in width, and 1427 mm (56.2 inches) in height, with a wheelbase of 3008 mm (118.4 inches) providing ample space inside. Its curb weight is 2090 kg (4600 lbs).

Xpeng is expected to present the new P7 at the Guangzhou Auto Show in the third quarter of this year. Unfortunately, for those outside China, it is unlikely to be available in their markets anytime soon.
