      The seating position is important both while driving and working at your desk. I'm not a fan of feeling fatigued, and I bet you’re not either. The latest collaboration from a car manufacturer is with Audi, offering high-performance, premium chairs aimed at dedicated gamers. Or, if you own an Audi and add one of these chairs to your office, you can imagine you’re still commuting while working.

      In conjunction with Vertagear, the Audi collection features three designs that likely represent over-engineered, enhanced office chairs. However, Vertagear is a leader in esports comfort, so this special edition trio is expected to excel in fit, quality, and fatigue relief. The prices range from $499.99 to $699.99, which sets high expectations.

      The collaborative collection includes the SL3800 Audi Edition, SL5800 RS Edition, and PL4800 Audi Sport Edition. The entry-level SL3800 focuses on everyday comfort. Its steel frame is covered in ultra-premium foam and high-grade synthetic leather.

      This gaming chair includes Vertagear’s patented CounterMax lumbar support for better posture and reduced tension, along with the VertaAir Seat System, which improves breathability and circulation through air cushioning. The SL3800 is also equipped with a supportive neck pillow and multiple seat adjustments. It’s designed for gamers up to 6 feet tall and 250 pounds, with the recommended user size being slightly smaller at 5’10” and 220 pounds.

      Next is the SL5800 RS Edition. It supports users up to 6’4″ and 260 pounds, featuring enhanced materials and HygennX velvet fabric, which offers odor control and rapid drying due to coffee ground-infused nanotechnology. This means spills might be less noticeable. The company's explanation states: “Nano-sized coffee granules within purified coffee grounds are woven into our HygennX fibers and incorporated into our HygennX padding, where they absorb and neutralize odors.” While we can't confirm its effectiveness, it certainly sounds innovative. The SL5800 RS Edition has a net weight of 62.6 pounds, the same as the SL3800.

      The 63.5-pound PL4800 Audi Sport Edition is slightly heavier. If you often shop at big and tall stores, this is the right Audi gamer chair for you. Designed for users up to 6’6″ and able to support weights up to 360 pounds, this model features NuSuede, a robust, high-performance microsuede also found on the entry-level chair. The premium version includes Audi Sport design elements and offers additional adjustment options.
