The 2026 Honda Accord now has a starting price of $29,590, reaching a maximum of $40,645.

LX and SE models feature an upgraded screen and a phone charger, while the Sport Hybrid variants now come with black exterior details. Prices have seen a slight increase, with most trims rising by just $100.

The Honda Accord has historically served as a key player in a segment it once established. Although it offers a robust hybrid option and a finely tuned ride, the Accord is consistently outperformed in sales by the Toyota Camry, with sales exceeding the Accord's by a ratio of more than two to one. However, such a disparity does not truly reflect the Accord's quality.

For 2026, Honda has made subtle enhancements to the Accord to enhance its attractiveness, while avoiding the more noticeable cosmetic changes seen in the Chinese-market version. The alterations are minor, and although prices have increased, the adjustments are small enough not to raise significant concerns.

      Updates for 2026

The lineup for the new model year begins with the base LX and SE trims, which continue to feature Honda’s 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine.

These trims are now equipped with a standard 9-inch infotainment system that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 15W wireless charging pad. The SE trim additionally features new 19-inch alloy wheels, providing a stronger visual presence from the start.

Honda has made some modifications to the Accord Sport Hybrid and Sport-L Hybrid models, both of which now include black exterior details, such as black badges, black side mirrors, gloss-black B-pillars, and a black shark fin antenna. The mid-tier EX-L and the top-level Touring models remain unchanged for 2026.

All hybrid variants of the 2026 Accord retain Honda’s twin-motor powertrain, which delivers 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. This model does not use a conventional transmission or a CVT but instead employs a direct drive system.

For the gas-only LX or SE models, the output is rated at 192 hp and 192 lb-ft, and these continue to be paired with a CVT.

      A Few Dollars More

Overall pricing has increased slightly across the range. The LX now starts at $29,590, including a $1,195 destination fee, which is just $100 higher than last year’s price of $29,490. The SE has also seen a minor increase, now at $31,890, up $135 from $31,755.

The starting price of the Accord Sport has risen from $34,850 to $34,990, a $140 increase. The EX-L has gone from $36,135 to $36,290, an additional $155. The Sport-L is now priced at $36,680, up $110 from the previous $36,570, while the Touring starts at $40,645, a modest $150 hike from the last price of $40,495.
