One of the rarest Ferrari collections in the world, featuring pristine supercars with low mileage, will be available at Mecum's auction in January 2026.
The collection consists of 48 cars, ranging from the 1950s to the 2010s.
Notable models include an F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari, each with exceptionally low mileage.
Collector Phil Bachman favored yellow Ferraris with unique options.
This exceptional private Ferrari collection will be auctioned at Mecum's sale in January 2026. For those who have always dreamed of owning a low-mileage Italian supercar, this might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The 48-car ensemble spans several decades, showcasing some of Maranello's most sought-after models. Many vehicles boast highly personalized specifications, indicative of a collector with a clear vision.
Phil Bachman, who passed away in August, curated this remarkable collection. A successful businessman, he managed various dealerships encompassing brands such as Pontiac, Cadillac, Nissan, Jeep, Renault, Ram, and even DeLorean.
Bachman purchased his first Ferrari in 1984 and, over the ensuing years, assembled a collection so precise it seems almost surreal.
The oldest vehicle in his garage is a 1953 Ferrari 166 MM/53 Vignale Spyder, which has 32,180 miles (37,306 km) on the odometer. From the 1960s, two standout models are a 250 GT/L Berlinetta Lusso and a 275 GTB/4 Alloy, both celebrated for their impeccable balance and design.
Transitioning to the 1970s, Bachman’s collection includes 11 cars from that decade, such as a 1975 365 GT4 BB with only 275 miles (443 km) traveled.
The 1980s models add another layer of intrigue, featuring a 1989 Testarossa with an astonishing 257 miles (413 km), sure to attract attention from collectors. After this, the collection shifts into Ferrari's modern performance era.
Included in the collection are two Ferrari F40s, both 1992 models in Rosso Corsa. One has been driven just 456 miles (734 km), while the other has only 865 miles (1,392 km), and both are expected to fetch over $3 million each.
The Bachman family is also selling an F50 with 251 miles (404 km), an Enzo with 645 miles (1,038 km), and two 360 Challenge Stradales, each with under 400 miles (644 km).
Adding to the uniqueness is the sole factory-painted yellow Ferrari FXX ever made, along with a low-mileage 430 Scuderia and a 16M Spider. The collection also features a 599 GTO with 103 miles (166 km) and a 599 SA Aperta with 172 miles (277 km).
Finally, the collection is completed by a LaFerrari Coupe with 157 miles (253 km) and an even rarer LaFerrari Aperta that has only 96 miles (154 km).
Every car represents a moment in Ferrari's history, preserved in nearly perfect condition, and together they showcase one of the most extraordinary automotive legacies to ever become available on the market. You can view the listings here.
