The new Grand Wagoneer is less expensive than its predecessor, yet it is still several thousand dollars more than the previous Wagoneer.

Jeep has announced that the updated Grand Wagoneer will have a starting price of $62,145, which is $2,200 higher than the 2025 Wagoneer it replaces. The base model comes well-equipped with heated and ventilated seats.

Earlier today, Jeep introduced the refreshed Grand Wagoneer, which features several significant changes. One of the most notable is the simplified lineup, as the Wagoneer has been removed from offerings.

This marks a notable change since the 2025 Wagoneer had seven trims available, while the Grand Wagoneer now has just four. Although variety can be beneficial, it seems Jeep felt the previous selection was excessive.

For the 2026 model year, the starting price for the base Grand Wagoneer is $62,145, plus a $2,595 destination charge. This represents a considerable increase compared to the 2025 Wagoneer, which commenced at $59,945 with a lower $2,095 delivery fee.

In contrast, the new base model is significantly cheaper than the previous Grand Wagoneer, which had a starting price of $84,945, resulting in a savings of $22,800.

Pricing for the remaining models in the lineup has also been significantly reduced, with the 2026 model year peaking at $96,390 for the Summit Obsidian 4x4 LWB, compared to the 2025 Series III Obsidian, which was priced at $112,540 and is still listed on Jeep's website.

In terms of comfort, technology, and safety features, the Grand Wagoneer boasts a fresh design and is equipped with LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers, and presumably 18-inch wheels. Buyers will also benefit from a power liftgate, heated auto-dimming side mirrors, and a remote start system.

Inside, drivers will encounter a heated leather steering wheel with power adjustments, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12-inch Uconnect5 infotainment system. The vehicle features perforated Capri front seats with 12-way power adjustment, as well as heating and cooling, alongside second-row captain’s chairs and a split-folding third row.

Additional highlights consist of a wireless smartphone charger, a tri-zone climate control system, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system. It also comes with an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a universal garage door opener.

A range of driver assistance features are available, including Active Driving Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, and Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection. Other systems include Active Lane Management, Intersection Collision Assist, and front/rear park assist.

Several options will be available, notably the Upland Package, which adds off-road enhancements like a two-speed transfer case, a limited-slip differential, and a Quadra-Lift air suspension, along with skid plates, tow hooks, and 20-inch wheels with all-season tires.

The base model will be offered in both normal and long wheelbases, along with a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive. Initially, it will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 468 lb-ft (635 Nm) of torque, with a range-extender powertrain to be introduced later.

For those looking to upgrade, the Limited Altitude trim starts at $71,140 and is available exclusively with four-wheel drive. It builds on the Limited trim by including power-folding side mirrors, perforated Nappa leather seats, and heated second-row seating. This variant likely comes with the Limited Altitude Appearance Package that adds black exterior details and larger 22-inch wheels.

The third and final trim mentioned is the Grand Wagoneer Summit Obsidian, priced at $93,390. It features a subtly updated exterior with a black roof, a tri-pane panoramic sunroof, and a Quadra-Lift air suspension. This model likely includes the Summit Obsidian Appearance Package with 22-inch wheels and glossy black accents.

Interior upgrades include 24-way power front seats made of premium perforated Nappa leather, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a four-zone climate control system, and a 19-speaker McIntosh premium audio system. Additional features comprise a head-up display, surround view camera system, and ParkSense for parallel and perpendicular parking assistance.
