A new hypercar, co-developed by Pininfarina and Vittori, features a 6.8-liter V12 hybrid engine, but that's not the main highlight.
Vittori's inaugural hypercar was created in collaboration with Pininfarina, boasting a 6.8-liter V12 hybrid that produces 1,100 hp. The Turbio accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds.
Update: While we await a response from Vittori, Pininfarina has addressed our inquiries and, to our surprise, confirmed that Artificial Intelligence played a role in the design process.
"AI was crucial in the initial design stages, enabling rapid iteration through numerous potential directions," a representative stated. "Pininfarina then built upon that foundation, enhancing the ideas into a fully developed, functional show car. With nearly a century of expertise, Pininfarina transformed the vision into reality with classic proportions and expert craftsmanship."

Few events generate buzz in the automotive scene like the unveiling of a new hypercar, especially one claiming AI involvement in its design. Following a brief teaser campaign from Vittori that piqued interest, mainly regarding its AI design assertions, the company has now revealed its first project, the Turbio, developed in collaboration with Pininfarina.
The AI Element
A notable aspect from the teaser campaign that has since disappeared from Pininfarina’s official announcement is the term "AI-assisted design." While this claim might not be surprising in today's context, if it pertains to the vehicle's styling, it's certainly an unusual one.

This project involves Pininfarina, arguably the most renowned Italian design firm, known for crafting some of the most stunning cars and owned by the Mahindra Group since 2015. The idea that AI could have influenced a creation connected to the Pininfarina name seems almost heretical.
Pininfarina describes the collaboration as “founded on an original visual concept by Vittori and designed alongside the iconic Italian design house Pininfarina.” We have reached out to both parties to clarify the extent of AI's contribution and will provide updates if we receive a response.
Design Aesthetics and Influences
Regarding the car's visuals, the Turbio has a distinctive appearance, although influences from Bugatti, Lamborghini, and McLaren are apparent. The front stands out with a small grille reminiscent of Bugatti, flanked by large air intakes positioned just below the headlights.
Typical mid-engined hypercar features are present, including sizable intakes and a low roofline. The rear showcases a striking engine cover, quadruple tailpipes, and unique taillights unlike any other vehicle we’ve encountered.
Details about the platform supporting the Turbio are not yet disclosed, and it's unclear if it has been entirely designed from scratch or is based on an existing vehicle. Nevertheless, as mentioned in our original report, the dimensions of Vittori’s creation are identical to those of a Lamborghini Revuelto, sharing the same wheelbase, weight distribution, and dry weight—whether this is mere coincidence remains uncertain.
Power and Performance
What is confirmed is that it features a distinctive 6.8-liter naturally aspirated V12 engineered by Italtecnica. This engine is complemented by an electric motor, producing a combined output of 1,100 hp, enabling it to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds. Vittori states the engine has a redline "close to 9,000 rpm."
Inside, the hypercar's cabin is as striking as its exterior. The steering wheel incorporates a unique arrangement of buttons and dials, accompanied by a semi-digital instrument cluster, a vertically oriented infotainment display, ambient lighting, and a blend of white, black, and blue leather upholstery.
Regarding pricing and production timelines, details remain undisclosed. Nevertheless, Vittori has initiated pre-sales and confirmed that production will be limited to just 50 units.
