Mustang Driver Hits the Gas, Leading to Chaos at Ford Car Show | Carscoops
A video captures a Ford Mustang losing control at a car show in Michigan, narrowly avoiding pedestrians before tumbling into a ditch.
Earlier reports indicate that the incident took place at Stillwell Ford's car show in Hillsdale, Michigan, last weekend. In the footage posted on YouTube, a silver Mustang accelerates sharply on a street in front of the dealership.
The car experiences a sudden jerk as it takes off, and the driver inexplicably turns left. They subsequently overcorrect, causing the Mustang to spin dangerously close to several bystanders.
After narrowly missing them, the Mustang glides past a classic Chevrolet Camaro and crashes into a dealership sign. It then veers into a ditch before rolling over. Eventually, the car rights itself as several bystanders rush in to help.
It's unclear how the driver is doing, but the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office received multiple complaints possibly linked to the incident. One complaint was about reckless driving, while another led to a traffic stop.
Sadly, incidents involving Mustangs and crashes seem to be quite common. We have reported on several similar occurrences over the years, including one in 2019 when a driver lost control after leaving an event, hit the gas, and ended up flipping after hitting the median.
