The all-new carbon fiber body enhances the stance of this custom 1969 Ford Mustang.

Beneath it lies a Roadster Shop chassis featuring Fox coilover suspension.

Customers can select from three powerful V8 engines paired with a manual gearbox.

Growing enthusiasm for classic restomods has resulted in the production of several carbon fiber-bodied 1965 Ford Mustangs in recent years. However, this specific version stands out as it is believed to be the first 1969 Mustang undergoing a carbon fiber transformation.

The project is being assembled by Trick Rides and is set to be revealed at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas this November. Each panel has been crafted from pre-preg carbon fiber, leaving no elements from the original shell intact. This flexibility has enabled the team to significantly flare the bodywork, giving the car a more aggressive appearance. Clearly, this vehicle isn't aimed at traditional Mustang enthusiasts.

      Bold Features

Among the most eye-catching modifications are the significantly wide new rear wheel arches, which include large air intake ducts. The muscle car is also equipped with a prominent carbon fiber front splitter, new side skirts, a substantial bulge on the hood, and a striking diffuser at the rear.

Supported by a chassis from Roadster Shop, known as ‘Scorched’, the vehicle features independent front suspension and a parallel four-link rear setup with oversized sway bars. It is equipped with Fox coilovers and utilizes Baer six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers, which grip 14-inch rotors. A set of Forgeline three-piece wheels fitted with Continental ExtremeContact Force tires has also been added.

      Powertrain Options

Trick Rides plans to create several of these spectacular builds, allowing owners to choose between a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8, a 429 cubic-inch ‘Boss Nine’ V8, or a 427 cubic-inch V8 from Ford Performance. All engines will be matched with a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission as standard, powering the rear wheels.

The cost of this extraordinary Mustang has not been disclosed, but potential buyers should be ready to invest a sum comparable to that of a modern supercar. Consider yourself warned.
