The identity of the owner of the Ferrari F1 prototype has not been officially disclosed.

The car in question is reportedly a 2006 Ferrari-Dallara F1 prototype equipped with a naturally aspirated V8 engine.

The driver resisted arrest when police tried to detain him while he was parked on private property.

Law enforcement in the Czech Republic has identified a notorious 51-year-old who has been known to drive a race car on public roads, a practice he has reportedly maintained since at least 2019. A recent video from TrackZone captures the moment when the Ferrari-themed single-seater's owner protests his arrest in a dramatic manner.

      A Rolling Spectacle

Earlier this week, the car’s owner was recorded driving on highways and suburban streets as part of a convoy that included a Ferrari F40, a Chevrolet C7 Corvette Z06, and a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. It seems that several camera cars were also present during the stunt, documenting the GP2 car's every move.

Shortly after stopping at a local gas station and executing a significant burnout in the GP2 car, the police are believed to have begun monitoring the man and his activities.

Not long after, they located the driver and attempted to pull him over on public roads. However, with the quick assistance of a Skoda from the convoy, the Dallara was promptly towed into a residential driveway.

      Standoff on Private Ground

Even though the driver and vehicle were on private property, the police can be seen insisting that the driver exit the vehicle and identify himself. This back-and-forth lasted several minutes, with the man repeatedly stating that the police had no right to be on the property without a warrant.

According to law enforcement, they were justified in being there due to reasonable suspicion that he had committed an unlawful act by driving the illegal and unregistered car on the road.

Ultimately, the man exited the vehicle and is believed to have been arrested. As reported by LeMatin, the fines for driving without registration and insurance could amount to thousands of Swiss francs. Furthermore, the driver might face a license suspension of up to one year.

      A Rare Prototype?

Until now, the car was thought to be a Dallara GP2 machine. However, the owner asserts that it is something much rarer: a Ferrari-Dallara F1 prototype constructed during Dallara’s abandoned Formula 1 project. It is claimed that the vehicle is powered by a Ferrari 2.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 generating over 800 hp, providing some justification for the man's assertion that this is not just a typical track vehicle.
