Bugatti has officially sold out both the Bolide and Tourbillon, with deliveries secured through 2029.

The 250-unit limit for the Tourbillon has been surpassed, leaving at least 60 customers on a waitlist.

The demand for Bugatti is stronger than ever, reminiscent of past sellouts projected only until 2025.

Imagine that 2025 has already been your year. Earnings are exceptional and you're considering acquiring a new supercar to flaunt your success. However, think twice before reaching out to your local Bugatti representative, as it would be futile. A recent report indicates that the brand is completely sold out until 2029.

Indeed, a new president will be in office in the US before those who place a Bugatti order tomorrow will actually receive it. The brand isn't having trouble staying afloat or maintaining production; on the contrary, Bugatti will only manufacture 250 units of the new V16 Tourbillon. Reports suggest that even if they were to increase production capacity, all units would still sell out.

In an interview with CarBuzz at Monterey Car Week, Design Director Frank Heyl stated that the company will be busy fulfilling allocated orders until 2029. “So, building 250 Tourbillons. Now delivering the final trials. The last Bolide… all that is going to keep us occupied with our production capabilities until 2029 and sold out until then. If a business owner has that [financial stability], it operates very solidly. Then you know you can plan for the future. Everything is arranged,” he mentioned.

In fact, the level of interest is so high that even if 59 customers withdrew their orders, it would still remain sold out, according to Bloomberg. “I want to make Bugatti into the most successful, most profitable car company in the world,” stated Mate Rimac. Clearly, having such a large number of potential buyers, particularly amongst the affluent, despite current uncertainties, underscores the historic French brand's continued prominence.

This stands in stark contrast to many other automakers grappling with tariffs, product lineups, and determining the extent of their electrification. It's noteworthy that Bugatti is sticking to a traditional approach in an era filled with underwhelming low-production hybrid supercars and remarkably impressive everyday supercars offered at a fraction of the price.
