The Fenomeno presents an entirely new design that makes the Revuelto appear almost subdued.
Lamborghini's engineers have fine-tuned the 6.5-liter V12 to enhance its power output.
The production of this new Italian supercar will be restricted to just 29 units globally.
Just before the commencement of the most exclusive events at Monterey Car Week this weekend, a striking new Lamborghini has emerged. Named the Fenomeno, it is the latest ultra-rare model from the Italian brand, adhering to a familiar theme: extreme style, exceptional performance, and a severely limited production run.
Based on the V12-powered Revuelto, this “few-off” model showcases a completely redesigned look that offers a unique identity within the lineup.
From a visual perspective, it’s unlikely that many will have complaints about this Italian creation. It embodies what a Lamborghini should represent: utterly wild. While it may not match the Veneno, it’s close, sharing minimal features with the Revuelto yet remaining instantly recognizable as a Raging Bull.
Sharp Lines and Even Sharper Attitude
At the front, the Fenomeno boasts sharp, angular headlights and a hood with two large vented air outlets. Lamborghini has also designed a custom bumper for this car, adorned with a color-matched stripe along the splitter.
The Fenomeno appears strikingly low, with wheels that fit seamlessly into the arches, creating the impression that it has been lowered from the factory, enhancing its daring appearance.
Every panel on the sides has been revamped, with two sizable air intakes positioned just behind the doors. At the rear, Lamborghini has completely committed to a unique carbon fiber engine cover and a redesigned rear, also made extensively of carbon fiber. The eye-catching features include Y-shaped LED taillights and quad exhaust pipes centered at the back.
What About Power?
Since the Fenomeno is derived from the Revuelto, it is not surprising that it retains the same foundational V12 hybrid powertrain. Nevertheless, some significant enhancements have been implemented.
The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 has been readjusted to yield 833 hp, an increase from the original 814 hp. A larger 7 kWh lithium-ion battery has also been incorporated to provide additional electric support. Altogether, the system generates 1,065 hp, a 64-hp increase compared to the Revuelto’s 1,001 hp. The enhanced battery slightly extends the electric-only range to 12 miles (20 km).
Performance metrics reflect the increase in power. Lamborghini claims that the car reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the Revuelto, while achieving the same top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
Exclusive by Design
Inside, the Fenomeno doesn't deviate significantly from its source vehicle. The interior features the same steering wheel, floating center display, digital dashboard, and passenger-side screen as the Revuelto. While there are no major changes to the cabin, buyers of such a vehicle are unlikely to seek novelty in infotainment.
Global production of the Fenomeno will be restricted to only 29 units, each reportedly priced around €3 million (approximately $3.5 million at current exchange rates). That is, of course, assuming you’re fortunate enough to receive an offer for one.
