The Exeed Exlantix E05 signifies a global initiative from Chery, with an international launch scheduled for the near future.
The new Exeed Exlantix E05, a range-extended SUV, will make its debut in Munich next month.
Its interior features three screens, wireless charging options, and a floating center console.
It is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor.
Exeed, one of Chery’s numerous sub-brands, has recently showcased its latest model, the Exlantix E05. This appealing SUV is set to globally debut at the upcoming Munich Motor Show, equipped with a range-extender powertrain and, unlike many other new Chinese vehicles, is expected to be available internationally.
From the front, the headlight design immediately evokes the current ICE-powered Porsche Macan, though the E05's lights are somewhat more intricate, featuring three LED daytime running lights each. The main headlights are vertically positioned on either side of the compact front grille.
While the front design of the SUV appears sleek, the rear has a more rounded look, featuring relatively understated LED taillights. Upon close inspection, it becomes apparent that the Exlantix E05 comes standard with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor.
Preliminary details from China indicate that the E05 measures 4,780 mm (188.1 inches) in length, 1,890 mm (74.4 inches) in width, and 1,725 mm (67.9 inches) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm (110.2 inches).
Minimalist Cabin with Multiple Screens
Similar to many new vehicles from China, the interior is quite minimalistic and technology-oriented. In front of the two-spoke steering wheel lies a small digital instrument cluster, while a large infotainment screen is centered on the dashboard. Additionally, Exeed has included a sizable display for the front passenger.
Other significant interior features comprise two cupholders, dual wireless phone chargers, and a storage area that passes through beneath the center console.
As the new model has yet to be fully revealed, numerous technical specifications remain unverified. However, regulatory documents indicate that it will utilize a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in conjunction with an electric motor. The engine will produce 154 hp (115 kW), but the output of the electric motor remains uncertain.
