Numerous aluminum components have been included in the interior of BMW's high-performance sedan and estate.

AC Schnitzer enhances the BMW M5's power from 717 hp to 799 hp with a new exhaust system.

A lowered ride height of 20 mm gives the vehicle a distinctly more aggressive look.

The tuning upgrades are available for both the M5 sedan and touring models.

Some enthusiasts remain undecided about the latest generation of the BMW M5, criticizing it for being too heavy, utilizing a hybrid V8 engine, or both. Recently, AC Schnitzer has launched upgrade packages for both the M5 Sedan and Touring, enhancing performance and amplifying their already striking appearance. If these modifications don't ignite your desire for a new M5, perhaps nothing will.

The modifications by the German brand begin with the powertrain. In its standard configuration, the M5's hybrid 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 produces an impressive 717 hp, but AC Schnitzer aims to elevate this to 799 hp through some software adjustments and a stainless steel exhaust system. While these enhancements might not be monumental, they should definitely be noticeable from behind the wheel.

Several aesthetic updates have also been made to the M5 Sedan and Touring. For instance, both body styles now feature new front splitters equipped with discreet aerodynamic canards, and AC has designed a lowering kit that reduces the ride height by 20 mm (0.7 inches). Although this may seem minimal, when combined with a new set of forged wheels, it dramatically alters the M5's appearance.

Regarding the wheels, they are the AC Schnitzer AC6 model, available in aluminum or glass black finishes, measuring 21×10.5 at the front with 285/35 tires and 21×11 at the rear with 295/35 tires. For customers who prefer to retain the original BMW M wheels, the tuner offers 7 mm (0.3 inch) spacers to achieve the ideal fit within the wheel arches.

At the back, both models feature new diffusers. The Touring is equipped with a larger roof spoiler, while the Sedan comes with a lip spoiler on the trunk lid. Additionally, owners can opt for aluminum pedals, a new key holder, and an aluminum cover for the iDrive controller at an extra cost.
