Kia has revealed that the 2026 EV9 will continue to start at $54,900.

While the entry price remains the same, some trim levels are now priced up to $2,000 lower.

The 2026 model year features slight improvements in range along with a new Nightfall Edition package.

The Kia EV9 is approaching its third model year with a few small updates. However, some key changes are worth noting, including price reductions, extended ranges, and the new Nightfall Edition package.

Starting with the Nightfall edition, the EV9 Nightfall is derived from the higher-end Land trim and adds $1,500 to the price. It comes with gloss black skid plates, fascia accents, and side sills, along with gloss black mirrors and roof rails. Additional features include black badging, black 20-inch wheels, and an exclusive Roadrider Brown paint color available only for this model.

Inside, the interior is designed in a black-on-black theme with a distinctive upholstery pattern. A six-seat configuration comes as standard, with an optional seven-seat layout at no extra cost. The standard Boost function enhances the torque output from 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) to 516 lb-ft (699 Nm).

Another significant update for 2026 is improved ranges. The Light Long Range increases from 304 miles to 305 miles, while the Wind and Land trims rise from 280 miles to 283 miles. Finally, the GT-Line sees a substantial increase from 270 miles to 280 miles.

Kia has maintained the pricing structure, with the base EV9 still starting at $54,900 plus a $1,495 destination fee. However, the EV9 Light Long Range sees a decrease from $59,900 to $57,900. Additional price reductions include the EV9 Land, which drops from $69,900 to $68,900, and the EV9 GT-Line, which decreases from $73,900 to $71,900.

For context, the EV9 offers battery packs of 76.1 and 99.8 kWh, along with various powertrains. The outputs are 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS), 215 hp (160 kW / 218 PS), and 379 hp (283 kW / 384 PS), resulting in 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) times ranging from five seconds to 8.8 seconds.
