Kia has revealed the pricing for the 2025 EV6, which comes with refreshed styling and new powertrain options.

The starting price for the model is $42,900, which is $300 higher than last year's offering, excluding destination charges.

The high-performance EV6 GT sees a significant price jump of $2,200, while offering a powerful output of 601 hp.

Kia unveiled the updated 2025 EV6, first showcased at the previous year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Now largely produced in West Point, Georgia, the lineup features several enhancements across all variants.

The base EV6 Light begins at $42,900 before an additional $1,475 for destination fees. This reflects a total increase of $380, attributed to a $300 rise in the base price and an $80 increase in the destination charge.

The Light Long Range variant sees a pre-destination price increase of $250, while the premier GT variant experiences a drastic $2,200 increase before shipping costs. This wide price variation corresponds with significant updates across the range.

Key changes include a revamped front end that boasts Star Map lighting, designed to create a “wider, more dynamic look,” alongside a more angular front bumper and redesigned hood.

Additional features include three-dimensional taillights and new exterior cladding, with buyers able to select from restyled wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches.

While the interior remains mostly unchanged, there is a new steering wheel and a refreshed center console. This is complemented by 12.3-inch displays, heated front seats, and a combination of fabric and SynTex upholstery. The entry-level variant additionally includes a 10-way power driver’s seat, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a wireless smartphone charger.

Standard driver assistance features include Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Highway Driving Assist, and High Beam Assist. Other safety enhancements comprise Blind Spot Collision Avoidance, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance, Forward Collision-Avoidance, and Rear Occupant Alert.

Significant changes have been made beneath the surface, as the EV6 now offers larger 63 and 84 kWh battery packs, replacing the previous 58 and 77.4 kWh options. This improvement translates to a driving range of 231 miles (372 km) to 319 miles (513 km).

In terms of powertrain updates, the 2025 EV6 now supports the North American Charging Standard, allowing owners to use Tesla Superchargers without needing an adapter.

The base EV6 Light features a rear-mounted motor producing 167 hp (125 kW / 169 PS) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. The Light Long Range, Wind, and GT-Line variants provide a rear-wheel drive option with 225 hp (168 kW / 228 PS) as well as an all-wheel drive choice with 320 hp (239 kW / 324 PS).

For those looking for enhanced performance, the top-of-the-line GT variant delivers 601 hp (448 kW / 609 PS) and 545 lb-ft (738 Nm) of torque. With Launch Mode activated, power output increases to 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) and 568 lb-ft (769 Nm), allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 161 mph (259 km/h).
