      The Subaru Forester narrowly avoided colliding with several spectators at a car meet.

      After racing past the crowd, the Subaru crashed into a barrier.

      The driver then began striking the Forester's windshield with a broken wiper.

      Dozens of individuals in Utah were nearly caught in a tragic event when an elderly driver drove through a crowd at a car show. The video, which is unsettling to watch, depicts a harrowing close call, followed by an odd aftermath that suggests the driver may have been undergoing a medical emergency.

      The widely shared footage on social media shows what seems to be a white Subaru Forester speeding through a straight stretch in an industrial area. Numerous cars can be seen parked at the dead-end, with a large group of people gathered alongside the road. The video then transitions to a close-up, revealing the Forester zipping past spectators, just inches away from hitting them while traveling at speeds much higher than normal highway limits.

      Incredible as it is, the Subaru did not strike anyone or any of the parked vehicles. However, it did crash into a barrier.

      Shortly afterward, a group of people can be seen rushing toward the Subaru, which came to rest several hundred feet away in a field. The elderly driver appears uninjured but is behaving oddly, seen hitting the crossover’s windshield with one of the broken wipers, prompting speculation that he may have been experiencing a medical episode or possibly dealing with dementia.

      What transpired following the incident is unclear, particularly since there has been no indication that the authorities were called.

      Those who were present on the street should consider themselves fortunate that the speeding Forester did not run them down. If the driver had struck anyone, the result could have been fatal, given the high speed at which the vehicle was traveling. It's also astonishing that none of the parked cars were damaged, as an impact at that speed could have easily resulted in the elderly driver's death as well.
