Although purists might argue against altering a classic—except perhaps by Alpina—this AC Schnitzer-tuned model might encourage a reevaluation of that viewpoint.

      This specific E38, based on a 1999 BMW 740i, has undergone styling, chassis, and performance enhancements from AC Schnitzer’s Japanese division. It has a relatively low mileage of 47,000 miles (75,600 km) for a 26-year-old luxury vehicle, and its overall condition appears to be quite solid.
