Real or Staged? Tesla Cybertruck Pulls Stuck Ford F-150 Out of Snow | Carscoops

Despite the possibility that the entire situation was staged, the Tesla successfully rescued this Ford truck from a deep snow area.

On March 28, 2025, at 21:11, Brad Anderson reported that a simple pull from the Tesla freed the Ford F-150, thanks to the substantial horsepower and torque available in the electric vehicle, especially in challenging circumstances like this.

Though the Tesla Cybertruck often faces mockery, it recently demonstrated its towing abilities by pulling a Ford F-150 stuck in the snow in Canada. While there is a chance the incident was orchestrated, the footage illustrates that with the right tires, the truck can effectively utilize its electric power.

The videos, posted on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, were shot by friends enjoying snowy conditions in both the Tesla and the Ford. For reasons that remain unclear, the F-150 driver seemingly backed into a snowbank near the roadside, ultimately becoming stuck—an all too familiar scenario.

We might be inclined to view this as a staged event—perhaps the F-150 was deliberately driven into the snow for the Tesla to showcase its capabilities. However, irrespective of the setup, the video reveals one key point: the Cybertruck is capable of performing well when it isn’t immobilized itself.

Navigating through snow can pose challenges for any vehicle, but this Cybertruck seems to have benefited from a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, which offer better traction than regular tires. It’s unclear whether it is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version or the tri-motor model, but it evidently had ample power to effortlessly tow out the Ford.

Despite the occasional viral incidents, the Cybertruck’s electric motors and sophisticated electronics can be functional in various off-road conditions. The Tesla shows no difficulties traversing some of the toughest and most renowned rock-crawling locations in the U.S., such as ‘Hell’s Revenge’ and the ‘Hot Tub’ in Moab, Utah.
