The offensive sticker was found by Makayla Starks during a routine oil change 17 hours ago, reported by Michael Gauthier.
A woman from Wisconsin went for an oil change and discovered a racial slur on her oil change sticker.
Kunes Buick GMC mishandled the apology and reportedly tried to conceal the incident.
A Nissan dealer in New York decided to present her with a new Leaf, ensuring she won't need an oil change again.
Earlier this month, we shared the story of Makayla Starks. She purchased a Nissan Rogue from Kunes Buick GMC last year and returned for a complimentary oil change in January.
Regrettably, Starks’ visit took a troubling turn when her oil change sticker displayed the N-word. She did not notice it right away, but employees allegedly attempted to remove the sticker before it was revealed.

The dealer ultimately issued an apology in a now-deleted Facebook post, claiming that the employee was terminated immediately. However, they referred to the sticker as a misguided attempt at humor between employees.
Kunes Auto and RV Group later released another statement expressing their "deep disturbance and sadness" regarding the incident. They also mentioned offering Starks "credits for future service at other locations."
Fast forward to today, and Fox 6 reports that Family Nissan in New York has chosen to give her a new Leaf. Ramzey Rizk from Family Nissan told the station, “It wasn’t just about giving her a car. It was about providing her with an electric car that won’t require any more oil changes.”
Starks is scheduled to fly to New York soon to receive the vehicle and plans to get rid of the Rogue. However, she faces a long journey ahead, as it's 878 miles (1,413 km) from Oak Creek, Wisconsin to Inwood, New York. With the Leaf having a maximum range of 212 miles (341 km), this will be a lengthy trip.
