      Rivian has unveiled its new R1T and R1S California Dune Editions.

      These models feature a distinctive paint job, unique wheels, and a two-tone interior.

      The electric vehicles are equipped with a tri-motor powertrain delivering 850 hp and a range of 329 miles.

      After teasing with sandy visuals last week, Rivian has launched the California Dune Editions of the R1T and R1S. Based on the tri-motor variants, they draw inspiration from the captivating desert landscapes of California.

      The special editions showcase a notable California Dune exterior highlighted by black accents. They are complemented by exclusive 20-inch wheels available in a matching California Dune finish or contrasting Satin Graphite.

      Additionally, buyers can opt for an All-Terrain Package, which includes an air compressor and underbody protection. The vehicles also come equipped with roof-mounted crossbars for Maxtrax recovery boards, a spare tire, and a distinctive power tonneau cover for the R1T.

      The interior features an Adventure theme with a blend of Sandstone and Black Mountain upholstery, dark ash wood trim, and fashionable Chilewich floor mats.

      Powering these models is a tri-motor setup that consists of a front-mounted motor and two rear motors, providing all-wheel drive, an output of 850 hp (634 kW / 862 PS), and 1,103 lb-ft (1,494 Nm) of torque. Due to these impressive specifications and the Max battery, the California Dune Editions can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and achieve an EPA-estimated range of 329 miles (529 km) per charge.

      The starting price for the R1T California Dune Edition is $99,900, while the R1S is priced at $105,900. Both models have delivery estimates ranging from 1-6 weeks, and they are available for order now.
