      Honda has revamped the 2026 Passport, giving it a more rugged, off-road-ready appearance, and we now have pricing information to complement this update. The redesigned SUV starts at $44,750, excluding a $1,450 destination charge, which is a notable increase from the previous model's starting price of $42,400.

      What does the additional cost of $2,350 provide? A stylish and well-equipped Passport RTL, showcasing a boxy design, enhanced ground clearance, and improved approach angle. Buyers will also benefit from a power liftgate and 18-inch wheels fitted with 31-inch tires.

      The interior features a minimalist design with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system positioned above the dashboard. This system includes built-in Google functionality, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Highlights include heated leather front seats and a wireless charger for smartphones.

      Available options are quite clear, with a $700 Tow Package that adds a Class III trailer hitch and two recovery points. Additionally, customers can opt for a $1,200 Blackout Package, offering black badges, lug nuts, and 18-inch wheels.

      Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque. It is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system that features torque vectoring technology.

      The mid-tier Passport TrailSport starts at $48,450 and includes a slightly updated exterior with gloss black accents, LED fog lights, and amber daytime running lights. It also features steel skid plates, front and rear recovery points, and a standard trailer hitch, alongside an off-road-tuned suspension and unique 18-inch wheels with General Grabber all-terrain tires.

      Interior enhancements include synthetic leather seats with orange contrast stitching and headrests stitched with TrailSport logos. Additional notable features comprise a panoramic sunroof and a heated windshield.

      At the top of the range is the TrailSport Elite, starting at $52,450. This variant emphasizes luxury, offering perforated leather front seats with heating, ventilation, and piping. It also includes a heated steering wheel, a smart entry system, and a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system.

      Rear-seat passengers are also considered, enjoying dedicated climate controls and rear door shades. The top-tier model is equipped with extended ambient lighting and a 360-degree TrailWatch camera system.

      Regarding technology, all trims come standard with the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

      The 2026 Passport is currently available for purchase, and Honda's Jessika Laudermilk emphasized its significance as it has the “highest conquest rate of any Honda SUV.” Furthermore, the Passport attracts “more buyers under 40 than key competitors in its category,” a fact that might make some feel older.
