Experience an Incredible POV Ride in a Pagani Zonda R Revo at COTA | Carscoops
Ordinary individuals like us are unlikely to ever get the opportunity to drive a car as remarkable as the Pagani Zonda Revolucion.
This particular Zonda Revolucion boasts a unique blue-tinted exposed carbon fiber body.
The track-exclusive machine is equipped with a 6.0-liter AMG naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 789 hp.
This extraordinarily rare Zonda reached a speed of 178 mph while racing down the back straight at COTA.
Only five Pagani Zonda Revolucion models exist globally, and due to its scarcity, the fortunate individuals who possess one might be justified in keeping it tucked away in a garage without ever driving it. However, a particularly sought-after blue carbon-fiber version is located in the US, and its owner is not hesitant to take it to the track, recently enjoying some private laps at the Circuit of the Americas F1.
Since most of us will never have the opportunity to drive such a rare, track-exclusive Zonda, this impressive POV video might be the closest we’ll get to experiencing what it feels like behind the wheel. As one would expect, the experience is largely defined by the magnificent Mercedes 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12.
This specific Zonda Revolucion seems to be the same one that was available for sale in Japan in early 2021. It is the only example among the five Revolucion models that features blue-tinted carbon fiber bodywork, resembling both a piece of art and a dedicated racing car. In recent years, the prices of rare Zondas have soared, and this vehicle could potentially command over $10 million if the owner ever chooses to sell it.
We should commend the owner not only for driving the car at COTA but also for pushing its limits. The driver was clearly taking risks, jumping curbs and tackling some high-speed corners at over 93 mph (150 km/h). On the back straight, the Zonda reached 178 mph (287 km/h) and was still gaining speed when the driver applied the brakes.
Pagani unveiled the Zonda Revolucion in 2013, featuring the 6.0-liter AMG V12 paired with a six-speed sequential transmission.
