DS Automobiles has unveiled the new Taylor made N°4 concept.
This design was created alongside racing driver Taylor Barnard.
The sporty aesthetics draw inspiration from both racing and video gaming.
The Detroit Auto Show, once a global highlight, is being overshadowed once again by the Brussels Motor Show, which has been filled with numerous debuts, including the Taylor made N°4 concept.
While the name might suggest a golfing collaboration, it actually honors Taylor Barnard, a driver for the DS Penske Formula E Team, who contributed to the design of this unique concept that takes inspiration from racing and video games.

Aimed at promoting the DS Performance Line Limited Edition collection, the car features a comprehensive redesign. At the front, there are pixelated headlights along with familiar fang-like LED daytime running lights. These are complemented by a distinctive grille showcasing “N°4” lettering and an illuminated DS logo.
As we move towards the rear, the vehicle displays widened fenders and a lowered ride height. It also comes with minimalist mirrors and motorsport-inspired door handles.
Unique wheels and a large diffuser with an integrated brake light indicating the number 77, which is Barnard’s lucky number and also appears on the hood, are further highlights. The rear end is particularly notable for its pixelated taillights and new vertical lighting elements.
The concept features a Pure Titanium exterior with Liquid Titanium accents, alongside Craft Titanium details that replace conventional carbon fiber. Additionally, the model has a Black Titanium roof and a split rear spoiler, accented by Light Gold elements and hints of purple, Barnard’s favorite color.
While DS Automobiles has not provided extensive technical specifications for the concept, they did mention that the road-going N°4 is available with hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric powertrains. The electric variant, known as the N°4 E-Tense, delivers 210 hp (157 kW / 213 PS) with a WLTP range of 280 miles (450 km).
Barnard stated, “The N°4 was already my favorite model in the lineup, so when the design team presented this project to me, I felt both thrilled and honored.” He added, “Creating a sports car that I could use every day was an exhilarating experience. This one-of-a-kind creation is the result of a special collaboration that showcases the exceptional talent of the women and men at DS Automobiles, who inspire us with their innovative designs.”
