This New Fiat Could Be Stellantis' Most Unenthusiastic Revamp to Date | Carscoops
Fiat has launched the new Qubo L, which is essentially a refreshed version of the Doblo.
Targeted at families, this model is set to hit dealerships early this year.
The vehicle will be available with gasoline, diesel, and electric options.
Fiat is revamping the Qubo, branding it as the “ultimate family mover for modern living.” However, this claim seems exaggerated since the new Qubo L seems to be merely an updated Doblo.
Reflecting this, Fiat’s PR team offered minimal substantial information about the vehicle, which isn't ideal, but the Qubo L is designed more as a family car rather than a business-oriented Doblo.

In any case, the Qubo L appears to just be a renamed Doblo featuring the Pack Style Plus, which includes a faux silver skid plate and a panoramic Magic Top roof. Both features seem to be part of the Qubo L, as Fiat noted a “multi-purpose glass roof.” Curiously, the company referred to it as a Magic Window, which is the rear window that flips up on the Doblo, allowing access to storage or reaching for items on the luggage shelf without having to open the tailgate.
Though Fiat seems somewhat unclear about the details, they did confirm that the van will be available in five colors: Cinema Black, Riviera Blue, Foresta Green, Gelato White, and (RED). Additionally, there will be five- and seven-seat configurations measuring 173.2 inches (4,400 mm) and 187 inches (4,750 mm) in length.
Fiat has not released interior images or specifics, but the cabin will likely be similar to that of the Doblo. If so, it may include a 10-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone charger, heated front seats, and a heated leather steering wheel. The available trims are expected to be Pop, Icon, and La Prima.
Three Powertrain Options
Under the hood, buyers can choose from gas, diesel, and electric engines. Specifics were not provided, but it seems that the van will feature a familiar 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 108 hp (81 kW / 110 PS) and 151 lb-ft (205 Nm) of torque, enabling the Doblo to reach 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in a slow 13.1 seconds.
Fiat also confirmed a diesel engine with outputs of 99 hp (74 kW / 100 PS) and 128 hp (96 kW / 130 PS), likely a carryover 1.5-liter option.
Unsurprisingly, there will be an electric version with 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS), which presumably includes a 50 kWh battery pack and a combined WLTP range of 211 miles (339 km).
While Fiat seems indifferent regarding the Qubo L, they will start accepting orders later this month, with the van expected to reach dealerships in “early 2026.”
