The Individual Behind The Ford GT And F-150 Raptor Is Creating His Own All-Terrain Hypercar | Carscoops

Jamal Hameedi, an engineer known for his work on the Ford Raptor and GT, teases a forthcoming hypercar.
Hameedi co-founded Venturo alongside luxury vehicle specialist Dr. Andreas Baenziger.
The vehicle is expected to deliver exceptional performance while also offering off-road comfort and range.
While many supercar startups make grand promises only to vanish before delivering a single vehicle, Jamal Hameedi’s Hameedi Venturo is one we hope persists. Why? Because when the individual responsible for some of the most iconic performance vehicles and trucks of the past two decades announces he is developing an all-terrain hypercar, the outcome is bound to be remarkable.
Hameedi dedicated nearly three decades to Ford, with the latter part of his tenure focused on creating legendary models such as the mid-engine GTs, the Shelby GT350, F-150 Raptor, Fiesta ST, Focus ST, and Focus RS. He then transitioned to JLR, where he led the SVO performance division, producing remarkable vehicles like the Defender Octa, the off-road and on-road variant of Land Rover’s 2026 Dakar Rally contender.
Currently, Hameedi has partnered with luxury automotive expert Dr. Andreas Baenziger for a new initiative that he claims “will create an entirely new automotive segment,” and it seems his background with the GT, Raptor, and Octa will be invaluable.
Details are currently scarce, with the only released image showcasing various environments such as deserts and snowy mountains, rather than vehicles. According to the company’s official announcement, their first model will be “an all-terrain hypercar that merges extreme on-road performance with remarkable go-anywhere capability and comfort.”
“We’re creating something that simply hasn’t existed before,” Hameedi remarked.
Insiders informed Carscoops that the project has backing from significant automotive companies and that the final product will be a multi-million dollar vehicle produced in very limited quantities.
It is understood that this will not merely be an elevated supercar akin to the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, but a vehicle designed from the ground up to excel as a hypercar on paved roads while also demonstrating substantial off-road prowess. More information is expected to be released in early 2026.
“This project embodies everything I believe about the future of luxury exploration,” Baenziger stated. “The automotive landscape is changing, yet the passion for driving experiences will always endure.”
Are you looking forward to seeing something akin to a Ferrari Purosangue crossover with enhanced off-road capabilities, or something more adventurous like Marc Philip Gemballa’s Marsien? Share your thoughts on what Hameedi should create.
