Mini's Latest Paul Smith Edition Exudes Subtle Chic | Carscoops
The new special edition boasts a vibrant exterior along with a distinctive interior.
Mini has collaborated with designer Paul Smith for this latest special edition, which showcases green accents, roof stripes, and sleek black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, blue sport seats, door sills, and knitted trim on the dashboard enhance the unique cabin experience.
While domestic automakers dominated the Japan Mobility Show, Mini took the opportunity to introduce the new Cooper Paul Smith Edition. This model continues a series of collaborations and will be available in three different body styles.
Starting with the exterior, there are two exclusive colors: Statement Grey and Inspired White. The former is inspired by a shade from the 1959 Mini Austin Seven, while the latter pays a contemporary tribute to the classic Beige.
For those seeking a more traditional look, Midnight Black Metallic is also an option.
This special edition emphasizes color, featuring Nottingham Green accents on the mirrors, grille, and wheels, with the option for a contrasting roof.
The 3- and 5-door variants also include a Signature Stripe on the roof. Buyers will find Paul Smith’s signature on the rear, along with black-finished 18-inch aluminum wheels. Special Mini logos in Black Blue are included to match the colorful design.
Before entering, drivers will notice the interior enhancements, such as puddle lamps that project “Hello” onto the ground, paired with special door sill plates that read, “Every day is a new beginning.”
Upon entering, you'll discover Nightshade Blue sports seats that blend Vescin pleather with a two-tone textile upper. The interior features unique knitting on the dashboard and door panels, along with a Signature Stripe on the steering wheel.
Additional highlights include Paul Smith branding and a stylized rabbit on the floor mats.
Mini has not provided details regarding the launch or pricing, but it appears that the special edition will be available worldwide and offered with both electric and ICE powertrains, excluding JCW models.
