The second-generation Alpine A110 will conclude its production next year and will be succeeded by an electric vehicle.

Alpine plans to manufacture the last 1,750 units of the second-generation A110 sports cars.

Production is set to end in mid-2026 after nearly 30,000 units have been produced.

A new successor to the A110 will debut next year as a genuine electric sports car.

In today’s market, lightweight and relatively affordable mid-engine sports cars are quite rare, yet the Alpine A110 has been a favorite among enthusiasts since 2017. However, its time is nearing its close as the French manufacturer has revealed that the final units are entering production.

The Dieppe Jean Rédélé plant will produce only 1,750 more units, which includes 50 examples of the high-performance A110 R 70. Production is expected to conclude in mid-2026, at which point nearly 30,000 second-generation A110s will have been assembled.

While it’s disappointing to see this model retire, it marks only a chapter in the A110's legacy. A third-generation version is set to launch next year, built on the new Alpine High Performance Electric Platform (APP) and designed as a true electric sports car.

Currently, Alpine offers the A110, A110 GTS, and A110 R 70 models. The base model starts at €66,900 in France and features a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 248 hp (185 kW / 252 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque.

This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the 2,429 lb (1,102 kg) coupe to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.

The €79,900 A110 GTS comes with a more powerful engine that produces 296 hp (221 kW / 300 PS) and 251 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque. This enhancement reduces the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time to 4.2 seconds, while the top speed increases to 170 mph (274 km/h).

Additional features include a sportier suspension, an active sports exhaust, and 18-inch forged wheels.

At the top of the range is the €122,900 A110 R 70, created to commemorate the brand’s 70th anniversary. This variant is limited to 770 units and includes various carbon fiber elements such as the hood, roof, wheels, and rear spoiler.
