Worn Range Rovers from Fast And Furious: Hobbs And Shaw are up for auction.

Each SUV comes equipped with crash bars, LED lighting, and a dual-pedal Wilwood skid brake.

Their current state varies from heavily used to battle-damaged, adorned with fake weapons on the roof.

Owning a film vehicle is an enjoyable experience for most, and spectators often find joy in recognizing something from the movies. Owners relish the attention, and this experience gets amplified when the car is from a well-recognized film or has significance outside of its cinematic context.

Those interested in this set of three Range Rovers from Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw will find that they miss out on much of that enjoyment. The silver lining is that a check engine light will likely be the least of their concerns after their purchase.

      What Are You Really Buying?

This one-of-a-kind trio of SUVs will be sold together at Mecum’s Dallas/Fort Worth auction on October 30, listed as lots T165.1 through T165.3. All three appeared in the 2019 Fast & Furious spin-off as stunt vehicles, a fact made evident by their appearance.

Before delving deeper, it’s important to note that all three continue to house a 4.4-liter V8 engine, automatic transmissions, and four-wheel drive.

Each vehicle was specially designed for the film and showcases a matte smoke gray wrap, front and rear crash bars, LED pod lights, an LED light bar, and a Wilwood “skid brake” system. This braking setup employs two pedals to allow stunt drivers to individually lock wheels for dramatic slides and turns.

Wilwood states that this technology is derived from agricultural tractors, which is not what one would typically expect on a luxury SUV once advertised with the term ‘bespoke.’

      What Condition Are They In?

However, the condition of these vehicles adds a fascinating layer to this auction. To put it lightly, they have endured a tough existence.

One has a damaged A-pillar and a shattered windshield. The other two feature fake machine guns affixed to their roofs, and none boast what one might classify as a flawless exterior.

Inside, the situation deteriorates further. The interiors are worn, the upholstery appears soiled, and several significant components are either missing or strewn about. The modifications for the second brake pedal hardly meet Range Rover's standards either.

Aside from remaining in a museum for neglected and lesser-known film cars, it’s uncertain what future these SUVs may hold. Curiously, a check engine light in any of these may, in fact, be a positive indication of life.

Still, if you’ve ever fantasized about owning a luxury SUV that has been rigorously used for cinematic purposes, this might be your chance. Take a look at the listing here and determine if this chaotic four-wheeled collectible piques your interest.
