Barugzai has named its newest Range Rover after a dinosaur, ensuring the design reflects that theme as well.

The third-generation Range Rover Sport now features an eye-catching body kit from Barugzai. The Raptor kit includes 24-inch wheels and widebody extensions, with custom modifications that enhance bumper flares, aero elements, and dual rear spoilers.

Historically, the Range Rover Sport has been a popular option for tuners, serving as a more elegant competitor to the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 or X6. Adding its own bold twist, UK-based Barugzai has launched the Raptor body kit for the newest iteration of this luxury SUV.

While many associate the Raptor name with Ford’s robust Ranger, Bronco, and F-150 models, Barugzai opted for a prehistoric reference, inspired by the predatory dinosaur. Founded by Naveed Barugzai Khan, the company shares a surname with Afzal Kahn of Project Kahn, but they are not related, despite a mutual fascination with modifying Range Rovers.

The Barugzai kit replaces the standard Range Rover emblem with the company’s custom lettering and features a redesigned hood with integrated vents. A new three-piece grille and an enhanced bumper extension containing extra LEDs, a splitter, and glossy black elements are also part of the package.

The vehicle’s profile is enhanced by wide fenders that reach the front and rear bumpers, along with deeper side skirts highlighted with glossy black accents. It also comes with new 24-inch forged alloy wheels named “E11EVEN.”

At the rear, there’s a large wing affixed to the roof and a secondary spoiler positioned above the taillights. For those less inclined towards an aggressive aerodynamic look, Barugzai offers a smaller spoiler option. The rear bumper extension concludes with a sporty diffuser, featuring quad exhaust pipes adorned with carbon fiber trim.

In comparison to stock versions of the Range Rover Sport, the Raptor exudes a more aggressive appearance, although the glossy black elements may have an outdated, plasticky look.

Barugzai’s modifications are exclusively exterior-focused, leaving the interior and mechanical components as they are. Depending on the model choice, the Range Rover Sport offers a power range from 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS) with the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel to 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) in the performance-centric SV, powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8.

Pricing for the Raptor kit has yet to be announced, but insights from Barugzai’s online store provide an estimate. Previous-generation body kits are priced at £5,995 (approximately $8,200), while many of the company’s 24-inch wheels are listed at £1,995 (around $2,700). For an in-depth look, Naveed Barugzai Khan showcases the complete package in a detailed video.
