Two pristine Alfa Romeo 8Cs, including a coupe with just 10 miles on the odometer, are going up for auction.
A single-owner Alfa Romeo 8C featuring merely 10 miles is set to be auctioned.
The 8C's design was crafted by Pininfarina, while Ferrari manufactured the 444 hp, 4.7-liter V8 engine.
Additionally, the same owner from the US is offering a 2009 8C Spider with only 19 miles.
Alfa Romeo’s new $2 million 33 Stradale is currently showcased at LA’s Petersen Museum, where staff likely have to routinely wipe away drool pools. Meanwhile, in another part of California, two modern Alfa icons are generating excitement among brand enthusiasts, largely due to their like-new condition and delivery mileage.
Only 500 8C Competizione coupes were made between 2008 and 2010, with just 90 sold in the US. There were also 500 units of the convertible 8C Spider, 35 of which were delivered to America.
A Collector’s Dream Pair
A wealthy Alfa Romeo enthusiast in the US acquired one of each model, with the cars being shipped directly from the dealership to his private museum, where they have remained. The Spider shows a mere 19 miles (31 km), while the Competizione has only 10 miles (16 km) on it. Essentially, both vehicles have what is referred to as delivery mileage.

While neither 8C possesses the striking features of the new 33, such as gullwing doors and a mid-engine layout, they were celebrated as some of the most stunning cars at their auto show introductions in 2006 (coupe) and 2008 (Spider), and their allure has not diminished over time.
Alfa Style, Maserati Foundations
Beneath the exterior of both cars lies a platform derived from the 2000s Maserati Coupe, along with a version of the Ferrari-engineered 4.7-liter V8 that shares some characteristics with the Ferrari 430’s engine, albeit with a different crank design for a more distinctive sound.
This engine produces 444 hp (450 PS) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm), which is transmitted to the rear wheels via a somewhat cumbersome automated manual paddle-shift transmission. Alfa never provided a manual option for the 8C, although a Swiss firm has created a gated-shift conversion.
Dressed in classic Rosso Alfa with coordinating red leather, carbon-backed bucket seats, and 20-inch clover-leaf alloy wheels, the 8Cs appear as if they have just emerged from an auto show. The window sticker indicates that the owner paid Maserati San Francisco $305,675 in 2008 for the coupe, equating to approximately $459,000 in 2025 currency. Given their low mileages, it's conceivable they could fetch that amount back, and you could potentially acquire both for less than half the price of a new 33 Stradale.
Which Keys Would You Choose?
If you have ever dreamed of parking a pair of showroom-fresh Alfas in your garage and delighting in the envy of every Cars and Coffee regular within a five-mile radius, now is your opportunity. You can view the listing for the Competizione here and for the Spider here. The only remaining question is, which set of keys would you pick up first?
