Tesla's Master Plan Part IV Is Far From Being a Plan | Carscoops

The latest master plan from the electric vehicle manufacturer did not address new product developments or solutions for their sales difficulties.

Although Tesla presented their new master plan, it lacks substance and fails to highlight any significant advancements despite many ongoing challenges. The company appears to be relying on artificial intelligence and their Optimus robot, but these initiatives remain unclear.

Tesla has revealed their newest master plan, which conveys a lot while actually saying very little. It seems as though Elon Musk became uninterested and tasked Grok with creating an ambiguous mission statement.

With that preface established, Tesla is no longer just a car manufacturer; it now positions itself as an AI company, perhaps? The tone also resembles a call for a communist uprising, as they claim to “integrate our manufacturing capabilities with our autonomous expertise to deliver new products and services that will enhance global prosperity and improve human flourishing through shared economic growth.”

This ambiguous rhetoric continues, interspersed with empty phrases like “growth is infinite” and “innovation removes constraints.” Besides straying into the realm of cliched motivational quotes, Tesla asserted that “enhancing daily life – and ensuring safety – for all individuals through our autonomous technology has been and remains our priority.”

The company stated that their initial step was the Roadster, which allowed them to finance the development of the Model S and Model X. Their success subsequently led to the widely acclaimed Model 3 and Model Y, with the controversial Cybertruck following. However, they did not indicate what will come next, and the Roadster 2.0 remains unaccounted for.

The absence of specifics does not instill much confidence, especially considering the company's ongoing issues. Nevertheless, Tesla claimed they are on the verge of a transformative phase poised for extraordinary growth. Achieving this, however, demands action rather than vague assertions.

Musk mentioned that approximately 80% of Tesla’s value will stem from their Optimus robot, which seems ambitious. The company stated that “tasks that are particularly monotonous or hazardous can now be addressed by alternative means. Thus, Optimus’ mission is to allow people to reclaim more time to pursue what they enjoy.”

These are the primary points. Approximately 80% of Tesla’s value will derive from Optimus.
