The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona closely resembles last year’s version.

As for the 2026 model year, the starting price will decrease from $64,995 to $59,995.

This price reduction means the Scat Pack will now be only $2,000 more expensive than the base R/T model.

Unfortunately, the Charger Daytona will no longer qualify for a $7,500 leasing incentive.

It’s typical for car manufacturers to gradually raise the prices of their vehicles each year. However, Dodge is taking a different approach with the 2026 Charger Daytona, which does not bode well for a model intended to initiate an exciting new era of all-electric muscle cars.

Dodge originally introduced the Charger Daytona in R/T and Scat Pack trims. However, after realizing that consumers were not interested in a Charger without a V6 or a V8, it eliminated the R/T option, leaving the $64,995 Scat Pack as the sole electric version of the new Charger. It has now been confirmed that the price will drop to $59,995 for the 2026 model year, representing an 8.3 percent decrease.

The price reduction means the Scat Pack will soon be only $2,000 more than the now-discontinued R/T, which previously started at $57,995. This is noteworthy considering the Scat Pack boasts a robust 670 hp, in comparison to the R/T’s maximum of 496 hp.

CarsDirect revealed pricing details for the 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack through an official order guide, which did not indicate any significant equipment changes for the upcoming model, so it is expected to be nearly identical to the current version.

      No Tax Credit

Unfortunately, the price decrease will not fully counterbalance the return of President Donald Trump to the White House. Although the Scat Pack was ineligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit when purchased, the incentive was available for leases. This will no longer be applicable following the elimination of the longstanding EV incentive program under the Trump administration.

Additionally, the Scat Pack is still more expensive than the recently announced Charger Sixpack. Dodge recently stated that the twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six version will be priced starting at $54,995. For traditional muscle car fans, this may remain the more appealing option, but since it offers a limited 550 hp, those looking for top-tier performance regardless of the powertrain should closely consider the Daytona Scat Pack.
