Ford has introduced a new event titled ‘American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience.’

This exhibit will debut in Los Angeles next month, celebrating everything related to the Mustang.

Participants will journey through “multi-sensory immersive environments” and enjoy a “4D thrill ride.”

The Mustang is beloved by enthusiasts, and Ford aims to honor this legendary pony car with a fresh immersive experience. While the company has been somewhat vague on details, it did disclose that American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience is developed by the creators of Titanic: An Immersive Voyage and Jurassic World: The Experience.

Although it may sound like a Mustang-centric museum presentation, Ford asserts that attendees will “step inside” history and “experience the palpable excitement of the Dearborn design studio in 1963.” The company also guaranteed that participants will sense the rumble of the V8 in their bones and “walk through the cultural moments that the Mustang has not only influenced but also helped establish.”

While Ford shared a lot without revealing too much detail, the event's website states that fans can expect to navigate “multi-sensory immersive environments” and take an “adrenaline-inducing 4D thrill ride.” The organizers also promised “legendary Mustangs from film and culture,” including Steve McQueen’s Mustang GT from Bullitt and the white convertible from Goldfinger.

The website further described this as a “walkthrough experience across various spaces, featuring a mix of projection content, vehicle displays, and interactive experiences.” Visitors should plan to spend approximately 60 to 90 minutes exploring the exhibits.

American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience opens in Los Angeles on November 8 and will be available until February. Ticket prices vary, beginning at $25.50 and rising to $34 on weekends. This pricing seems somewhat steep considering tickets for the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show range from $14 to $21, excluding service fees.
