The Prestige Black trim from Genesis features dark accents both inside and out.

Genesis has launched Prestige Black versions for the G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.

The exterior enhancements include a gloss black grille, dark badging, and wheels that can go up to 22 inches.

The interiors showcase black Nappa leather, open-pore wood trim, and anodized speaker grilles.

Blackout packages have gained significant popularity, and nearly every automaker now offers one. Genesis joins the trend with the introduction of a Prestige Black trim for the 2026 G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.

Available in the U.S. and Canada, these models feature a striking monochrome look with black accents and paint options of Vik Black or Uyuni White. Interior upgrades add unique touches for buyers.

Starting with the $79,350 G80 Prestige Black, it includes a gloss black grille along with black accents on the bumpers and door handles. Additional features consist of black headlight bezels, dark badging, black brake calipers, and black 20-inch wheels with floating center caps.

Inside, the theme continues with Black Ash open-pore wood trim and black Nappa leather seats that feature a distinct quilted design. The model also has black switchgear, air vents, and anodized black speaker grilles. Highlights include exclusive key fobs and an updated infotainment system with unique features.

The $105,750 G90 Prestige Black is quite similar but comes with larger 21-inch alloy wheels in a black finish. Buyers will also notice more upscale Black Ash open-pore wood trim accented with a brass-colored G-Matrix inlay.

On the crossover side, the GV80 Prestige Black starts at $83,250 and boasts many of the same enhancements as the G80, though it offers some different features, including gloss black roof rails and larger 22-inch wheels fitted with all-season tires. This model also has a five-passenger interior with power reclining rear seats.

The GV80 Coupe Prestige Black mirrors the aforementioned model, but at a higher price of $89,400. It appears to forego some features like the gloss black roof rails and power reclining rear seats.

Further details will be provided later this year, and Genesis Motor North America COO Tedros Mengiste mentioned, “North American customers are increasingly looking for vehicles that express their personal style while offering exceptional craftsmanship. Prestige Black delivers exactly that.”
