      YouTuber reconstructed a Dodge pickup with a reversed chassis arrangement and maintains legal equipment.

      The modifications involved repositioning the steering, brake lines, and pedal assembly to fit the new layout.

      Local police stopped it shortly after but later permitted the truck to continue driving.

      At first glance, this Dodge pickup appears quite ordinary. However, a closer inspection uncovers a unique and clever twist. Unlike some influencers who alter vehicles with extravagant body kits or dramatic engine swaps, Champlin opted for a different approach with this pickup. His concept? Invert the truck’s configuration, where the rear serves as the front and the front acts as the rear.

      While it may sound straightforward, implementing it was quite challenging. Once completed, it quickly attracted the attention of local authorities, who pulled him over just 200 yards from Champlin’s workshop to investigate what was happening.

      An Inside-Out Build

      To construct the truck, the YouTuber and his crew detached the cab from the original chassis and turned everything around. As before, the engine remains mounted at the front of the chassis, but now it resides in the bed of the truck positioned at the front. To ensure the steering and brakes functioned while Champlin sat backwards in the cabin, the steering column, brake lines, and pedals had to be relocated.

      Champlin claims that the completed truck features operational headlights, turn signals, and is fully legal and insured. Driving down the road with the bed facing forward gives the impression that the truck is being driven in reverse. However, it is not. It appears bizarre on video, and it’s hard to fathom how it would look in person.

      According to the YouTuber, the revamped truck feels better this way compared to how it was when he first drove it. After a brief encounter with two friendly officers after hitting the road, Champlin enjoys some relaxed miles behind the wheel, even passing several police vehicles that didn’t seem to react.
