      Bumpy roads, questionable parallel parking skills, and rims extending beyond the tires have made curbed wheels a frequent (and almost anticipated) sight on Teslas. To address this issue, Unplugged Performance has introduced its new 19- and 20-inch UP Forged Warrior Wheels for the Model 3 and Model Y, branding them as “the world’s first indestructible wheel.”

      This is a bold claim, but the design incorporates genuinely effective features aimed at resolving the common durability challenges Tesla owners encounter.

      Unplugged Performance has established a strong reputation in the Tesla aftermarket sector, designing these wheels to withstand nearly any challenge that owners might present. With this in mind, the company believes these wheels would be a perfect addition to Tesla’s forthcoming Robotaxi fleet, including the future Cybercab, as they are not only incredibly robust but also touted as “one of the most aerodynamic wheels ever made.”

      Functional Design with Simple Repairs

      Disregarding some of the exaggeration in the press release, the wheels certainly appear intriguing. They feature a semi-aero-disc design with a thick outer lip to enhance aerodynamics. Unplugged has also added an aluminum Curb Guard Ring along the outer edge of the wheel, easily replaceable if scratched.

      This feature will surely be appreciated by Tesla owners weary of their wheels losing the curb fight with every parking attempt.

      The company labels these Forged Road Warrior wheels as “crack-proof,” even daring owners to “go ahead, try to break it.” Each wheel has a load capacity exceeding 950 kg (2,094 lbs) and is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum. The company is so assured in the performance of the wheels that it offers a lifetime replacement guarantee for any wheel that bends or cracks under regular use.

      Despite their durability, these Model 3 and Model Y wheels remain quite lightweight. The 19-inch version weighs 23.54 lbs (10.7 kg), while the 20-inch model is 25.96 lbs (11.8 kg). The wheels come in a single finish with matte black spokes and grey aero discs.

      Considering all the claims about the wheels, they are surprisingly reasonably priced for a set of forged alloys. Unplugged currently offers a set of four 19-inch wheels for $2,595, or four 20-inch wheels for $2,995.
