Nissan's top-selling crossover now comes with a new blackout trim, updated packages, and an increased price.

Nissan has unveiled the 2026 Rogue, which features a new Dark Armor variant that includes gloss black exterior accents and additional equipment. The starting price rises by $200 to $28,790, excluding a $1,390 destination charge.

Last month, we reported that the 2026 Nissan Rogue would receive multiple updates, including the new Dark Armor edition. The company has now officially launched the model and confirmed the starting price.

Although the base crossover is $200 more expensive than the previous version, the highlight is the Rogue Dark Armor, based on the SV trim and reflecting the blackout trend. This package includes gloss black mirror caps, pillar trim, and badging, along with a black grille, satin black roof rails, and 19-inch wheels in a gloss black finish.

The interior has also been upgraded with additional features. Notable improvements include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a panoramic moonroof. The Dark Armor variant also introduces an HD Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

Regarding the 2026 Rogue SV, it now offers a newly available Cold Weather Package, which includes a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.

While our sources correctly noted several details, including the removal of the SL's Premium Package, some aspects differ. Specifically, the Platinum trim still offers a Tech Package that features ProPILOT Assist 2.1.

The anticipated price drop for the Rogue Rock Creek did not occur; instead, the 2026 model starts at $33,690, reflecting a $200 increase.

Regardless of the trim chosen, all Rogues come equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that generates 201 hp (150 kW / 203 PS) and 225 lb-ft (305 Nm) of torque. It is paired with an Xtronic transmission, allowing the crossover to achieve up to 29 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 32 mpg combined. Notably, the top-tier Rogue Platinum is now only available with all-wheel drive.
