The cosmetics company has introduced a pink Optiq and has promoted it as a significant advancement.

Mary Kay is reportedly set to replace the Cadillac XT5 with the electric Optiq crossover.

Since 1968, the cosmetics firm has included pink vehicles in its brand, beginning with a Coupe De Ville.

At their annual seminar in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mary Kay and their renowned pink Cadillacs are transitioning into the electric era with the unveiling of the Optiq.

This model showcases a pink pearl exterior complemented by black accents and chrome details. Additionally, there are some relatively understated Mary Kay logos on the front doors.

The crossover is the latest addition to a long history of pink Cadillacs, which began in 1968 when Mary Kay Ash acquired a Coupe De Ville. A dealer customized it to match Mary Kay’s light pink lip and eye palette, a shade that would later be referred to as Mary Kay Pink Pearl.

The Optiq is set to take the place of the pink XT5 as part of Mary Kay’s Career Car Program, which rewards top performers with an attention-grabbing Cadillac.

Mary Kay characterized this shift as a “significant step forward,” highlighting their “commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and meeting the expectations of the upcoming generation.” They emphasized that the “transition from internal combustion to electric signifies more than just an upgrade in vehicles; it represents a revitalized vision for the future of the iconic beauty brand.”

The 2026 Optiq starts at $50,900 and comes with numerous enhancements, including a native NACS port for access to Tesla's Supercharger network. Buyers can also choose between two new powertrains: a rear-wheel drive option with 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque.

An upgraded all-wheel drive model is also available, producing 440 hp (328 kW / 446 PS) and 498 lb-ft (674 Nm) of torque, a notable increase from the previous figures of 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 354 lb-ft (479 Nm).
