
Audi's Exciting Crossover Coupe Launches With a 509 HP Top Model | Carscoops
The Audi Q6 and SQ6 Sportback e-trons are set to debut in U.S. dealerships later this month, featuring premium pricing and remarkable performance.
The crossover coupe is priced $5,800 more than the SUV and comes well-equipped.
The SQ6 boasts 509 hp and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in as quickly as 4.1 seconds.
Audi of America is expanding its electric vehicle offerings with the arrival of the 2025 Q6 Sportback e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron in dealerships this month. Both models will be available in three trims, starting at $69,600.
The entry-level Q6 Sportback Premium is $5,800 more expensive than the base model and features a sleek roofline that is 1.4 inches (37mm) lower than that of the standard SUV. This crossover coupe is equipped with an S line exterior and 19-inch wheels. Additional highlights include leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.5-inch infotainment system.
The $73,400 Premium Plus trim enhances the interior with a heated steering wheel, a Bang & Olufsen premium audio setup, and an LED interior lighting package. It also includes extra driver assistance features like adaptive cruise assist and an augmented reality head-up display.
The $75,400 Prestige trim further upgrades the model with acoustic front door glass and a 10.9-inch passenger display. Buyers will also enjoy adaptive air suspension and enhanced daytime running lights.
Powering the vehicles is a 100 kWh battery that supports a dual-motor all-wheel drive system generating 422 hp (315 kW / 428 PS), which increases to 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS) when using Launch Control.
This configuration allows the Q6 Sportback e-tron to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.9 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h). Customers can expect a range of up to 319 miles (513 km) and the ability to charge the battery from 10-80% in as little as 21 minutes with a 270 kW DC fast charger.
The SQ6 Sportback e-tron starts at $76,300 and features a more aggressive design with alu-optic accents and 20-inch wheels.
Notable interior upgrades include a three-spoke sport steering wheel and leather/Dinamica sport seating, along with stainless steel pedals, carbon fiber trim, and massaging front seats.
In terms of performance, the SQ6 features an enhanced dual-motor all-wheel drive system that delivers 483 hp (360 kW / 490 PS), or 509 hp (380 kW / 516 PS) with Launch Control. This allows it to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h), although the range is lower at 283 miles (455 km).
Regarding performance enhancements, the crossover includes a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension and an improved front braking system equipped with six-piston calipers and larger 14.8-inch (375 mm) discs for enhanced stopping power.
