Additionally, the company presented the Cyber X concept, which hints at their future styling approach.
At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, MG unveiled two new models along with a concept and a design exercise. The event also highlighted the EX4, a reimagined version of the Metro 6R4 rally car.
Kicking off with the IM5 executive liftback, this aerodynamic electric vehicle has subtle similarities to the Porsche Taycan. It features smooth curves, flush door handles, and a low drag coefficient of 0.226.

Consumers can expect a panoramic glass roof and 19-inch wheels designed for aerodynamic efficiency. The vehicle is also equipped with a notable spoiler, LED taillights, and a liftgate that reveals a 16.1 cubic foot (457 liters) trunk.
MG has not provided extensive details about the interior but has included a 26.3-inch screen that serves as both a digital instrument panel and infotainment system. This screen is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and it is accompanied by a 10.5-inch touchscreen below.
The IM5 features heated and ventilated "leather-like" seats along with a 20-speaker audio system. Metallic accents and a wireless smartphone charger are also present.
MG has confirmed that the IM5 will come with 75 and 100 kWh battery pack options, as well as single and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. The 100 kWh Long Range model can achieve up to 441 miles (710 km) on a single charge, and can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 17 minutes.
The manufacturer also introduced a Performance variant, delivering 742 hp (553 kW / 752 PS) and 591 lb-ft (802 Nm) of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds.
Pricing begins at £39,450 and rises to £48,495 for the Performance version.
IM6 SUV
The IM6 is essentially a taller version of the IM5, designed as an SUV. It retains a familiar design but includes cladding and a modified front. Additionally, this model offers more space with 23.5 cubic feet (665 liters) of cargo capacity.
It is powered by a 100 kWh battery pack, providing up to 388 miles (624 km) of range. Standard features include rear steering, and the Performance variant can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.
Pricing for the IM6 starts at £47,995 and goes up to £50,995 for the Performance model, with a special Launch Edition priced at £52,995.
Cyber X
In addition to the production models, MG showcased the Cyber X. Designed to represent the brand's upcoming design language, this concept is a boxy electric "urban explorer."
It features a nearly vertical front with a full-width light bar and retractable headlights. The design also includes blacked-out A-pillars, a stylish greenhouse, sleek body contours, muscular fenders, and flush door handles.
Noteworthy features include a panoramic glass roof and plastic body cladding, complemented by aerodynamic wheels fitted with robust tires.
Cyberster Black
Lastly, MG introduced the Cyberster Black, which sports a "luxurious black finish" achieved through a premium paint process typically used for high-end vehicles. While specifics are limited, the paint incorporates ultra-fine glass particles that create a subtle sparkle and a "shimmering effect" in motion.
In addition to the distinctive paint, the roadster features chrome wheels paired with red brake calipers and an all-black interior.
