This remarkable 911 GT3 RS 4.0 has only been driven 341 miles since it was first purchased.
Only 39 units of the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 were produced with a Paint-to-Sample finish.
Earlier this year, a white variant changed ownership for $1,001,917.
Many enthusiasts believe the Porsche 911 reached its zenith with the GT3 RS 4.0, which debuted as the premier model of the revered 997.2 in 2011. With only 600 units made globally, it was the first 911 to feature a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six and the last GT3 RS to come with a six-speed manual transmission. However, it is unlikely to be worth as much as $2.69 million.
Exceptional 911 GT3 RS 4.0 models don’t frequently appear on the market, but when they do, they garner significant interest. Earlier this year, one was auctioned in Paris for €471,875, equivalent to about $554,000, even though it had 10,094 km (6,272 miles) on the odometer.

More recently, a pristine model with only 319 miles (513 km) was sold in the U.S. for an astonishing $1,001,917. The seller of this particular model is asking for significantly more than that.
This GT3 RS 4.0 is currently for sale through Graham Rahal Performance in Zionsville, Indiana, with an asking price of $2,699,996. It has been driven merely 341 miles (549 km) since new, and, unlike most other 4.0 models, it is not finished in white. In fact, it is one of only 39 units that feature a Paint-to-Sample finish. While the GT Silver color may not stand out dramatically among the PTS options, it certainly looks impressive.
In contrast to the GT Silver paint, the car displays the typical black graphics of the GT3 RS 4.0, accented with bright red details. Additionally, it features black and red wing mirrors and is equipped with stunning black center-lock wheels paired with golden brake calipers.
The interior has also been tastefully equipped, boasting black leather and Alcantara, red seatbelts, and red door pulls. A plaque on the dashboard indicates this is number 318 out of the 600 units produced.
A glance at the window sticker shows that the original owner of this Porsche paid $216,210, roughly equivalent to $308,990 today. While we doubt anyone would pay $2.6 million for it, even matching the recent sale of a $1 million model would signify a value increase of over three times in the last 14 years. Quite impressive indeed.
